No one should be alone and isolated at any time, but on Christmas Day – the one day of the year when almost everyone stops to spend time with family and friends – it is appalling that people should find themselves without someone to turn to.
At Wesley Mission, we want to be that “someone to turn to”; we want to be family for those who have no one.
Your gift will help us to be there for more people at Christmas – for the homeless, for the lonely and isolated, and for children and families who are struggling to cope.
This Christmas we hope to give more than 2000 toys to children in need and 600 food hampers to disadvantaged families. We’ll be hosting Christmas lunch for the homeless at Edward Eagar Lodge, spending time with the elderly who live alone, and taking hundreds of distressed calls to Lifeline.
But we can’t do it without your help.
